“It was a pleasure to work with you, I really appreciated the process and the professionalism from you all.”
Managing Director, Trade Publishing Company, London
A FTSE 250 client had been trying to fill a senior vacancy, and having the position empty was negatively impacting upon their business. Having already tried advertising and other recruitment companies, they realised they just weren’t locating any quality candidates.
As Mosaic Search & Selection specialise in their niche industry, we knew we’d be able to help them fill this role fast. After listening to their requirements and taking a thorough briefing, which included what they expected the right person to achieve during their first 6 and 12 months on-board, our Senior Consultant and their team started to work on this retained assignment.
Within an agreed short period of time, Mosaic had confidentially identified and interviewed four top performing individuals, gained their interest in the role and were subsequently keen to meet with the client for the first-stage interviews. After a final interview an offer was made and accepted, and the newly recruited person has now proved themselves to be invaluable and a huge asset to their growing company. We ensured both client and candidate were fully briefed at every stage to ensure this placement was a success, including giving full and constructive feedback to the unsuccessful candidates.
“It was a pleasure to work with you, I really appreciated the process and the professionalism from you all.”

“… a big thank you for your work on securing a fantastic new MD for our Australian operation.”
MANAGING DIRECTOR, TRADE PUBLISHER, AUSTRALIA,
Our client, a major London based international publisher with an office in Sydney, Australia, asked us to help find a Managing Director. They felt their own in-house team didn’t have the reach to find candidates in Australia.
We took a detailed brief and built a search plan for their approval. This included engaging our colleagues in our Sydney office to carry out a market map of where we may find potential candidates.
We then went through a process of speaking with each of the target individuals to understand what they would like should they make a career move and discuss whether our client’s role would be a good move. We then had discussions to see how their experience and skills fitted our client’s needs. Following the interview process, we advised on the remuneration offer and contract details. The successful candidate was hired.
“… a big thank you for your work on securing a fantastic new MD for our Australian operation.”
