A leading UK General insurance business were looking to conduct a confidential search for a Chief Finance Officer. They approached us through industry recommendation. We spent time outlining the requirements for the role and wider business for the next 3-5 years and mutually agreed a process that would both be sensitive and thorough.
Our targeted candidates were under NDA (due to a current incumbent in place) and interviews were arranged at neutral, mutually convenient venues. Our knowledge of the top performance finance leaders in the insurance industry (and slightly wider of sector) enabled us to attract the candidates who weren’t actively seeking a move but were enticed by the right next career opportunity.
The placement was successfully made and we took extensive care to leave the other shortlisted candidates feeling positive about the represented client and the recruitment experience. We then assisted the client with the correct exit strategy for the existing CFO, whilst also assisting the individual with their future career plan.
